Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using 12WY Reports ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.

Description of Service

12WY Reports is a web application that helps users track and measure progress toward their 12-week year goals by integrating with calendar services (Google Calendar and Apple Calendar). The Service:

  • Reads calendar events tagged with 12WY identifiers
  • Matches events to user-defined goals
  • Generates weekly performance reports
  • Provides historical tracking and analytics

User Accounts

Account Creation

To use the Service, you must:

  • Create an account using Google OAuth or Apple Sign In
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • Ensuring you have permission to grant calendar access

Calendar Access and Permissions

By using the Service, you grant us permission to:

  • Read calendar events from your connected calendar service
  • Identify events tagged with 12WY identifiers (e.g., #12wy, #12WY)
  • Store event metadata and completion status in our database
  • Generate reports based on your calendar data

Important: We only read calendar data. We never create, modify, or delete calendar events. You can revoke calendar access at any time through your calendar service settings.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use the Service to access calendars you don't have permission to access

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by 12WY Reports and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of all data you provide to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a license to use, store, and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. The Service may be unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance
  • Technical issues or failures
  • Third-party service outages (e.g., Google Calendar, Railway hosting)
  • Force majeure events

We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from Service unavailability.

Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including:

  • Breach of these Terms
  • Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • Extended period of inactivity

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the Service or by revoking calendar access. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 12WY REPORTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 12WY Reports, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use the Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service is operated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
